I've decided to make a Tetris clone with FBA. In the past I've made flash applications in AS2, but flash is very tricky on windows mobile. One day I searched a game engine for PPC and therefore here I am. :D
The game will be available for WVGA and WQVGA devices. If it has a lot of good Feedback and somebody want a QVGA or VGA version I'll make it. ;) At the moment this game is only in german, but for Tetris you don't really need the correct language. :lol: Nevertheless there will be a english one.
So do you like the screens so far and would you like to play it? ^^

it's nice! but there are three things (like i think):

1) most users have QVGA sreens. if you have other, keep qvga in your mind. on the first place.
2) classic tetris is VERY popular game. if you want not only practic, but user's attention and own praid - make some interesting changes, that will attract users. it maybe just a history or concept changing! for example - classic tetris become "Star Wars: Death Moon Building" Image
3) the game on the your screenshots always have it: finger-orient interface, it's nice.

it's my own opinion Image i wish you a great game!

i say it not because i have QVGA screen :)
i began my last game on the VGA. "there are more users of VGA" - i thought. So, when game was rewrited to QVGA, download statistic change to the next:

Based on the posts in the other topic, I wouldn't worry about VGA and QVGA. First of all, like I said before, Kevtris already covers lower resolutions. But more importantly, your on-screen controls would be terrible to cram into a smaller screen. Like you said, I think it would be better keeping it at the higher resolutions to fill the current void.

wow..... maybe it was some device-oriented site? overweight of wvga is greate...
so, looks like my rezults is only about russian users :) i didn't think about it.

my apps are posted almost everywhere, and also mainly rehosted. So these are the results i can verify, direct links from xda-developers (that is not device-oriented, as you know) :-)
In generale, qvga and wqvga are, as now, old phone models; and none produces anymore qvga phones
