Is it possible to create programs in a 480x800 resolution?
Sorry if this is a hideously stupid question but I have no experience of developing whatsoever.
I found this program about an hour ago and have been fiddling about with it but I cant seem to find an option for WVGA, just wanted to check I wasnt missing something.........
Thanks

Actually not directly.
While underlying graphic lib (pockethal) should support wvga, the IDE client doesn't (so there's no way to select it).
You could try to dig in the IDE Delphi sources (available in the forum) and try to modify it for WVGA support, but I understand It couldn't be worthy ;) and could be better for you to spend your free time on trying native solutions (c++ and so on)
Regards :)

Although the simulator won't let you "preview" in WVGA, your app can run in WVGA fine. I started playing with FBA about a year ago and have written several programs for my HTC Touch Diamond 2. If you make your GUI dynamically scalable to any screen size, the development limitation isn't that big a deal (even if you don't you may be able to work around it, the IDE seems to be pretty forgiving of things like background images that exceed the screen dimensions, etc.)
