note: you can't write on an internal resource!

just use the cryptkey of config files, or save a custom binary crypted file with files handling functions...

Still don't understand this!!

So I want to use a regular INI file. But it won't be included in the installer project. So how do I get the INI file onto the pocket PC???? If the file doesn't exist does opening create it?

Yes, use the ini file...
But original question was "add an external .ini file inside my application."

So you need:
- add your file to external resources
- use openconfigext to read it.

It should be created if doesn't exists, but it's better to add it inside external resources, so setup program will track it and will autoremove when you uninstall your program...

If you haven't anything to put inside it, just add a 0 bytes length file :)

Great, I think I get it now.

The external stuff wasn't too clear. Thanks for your help. Any new versions planned? ;)
