Hi, thanks for your time Donations are just a symbolic sign, you could donate anything you want; as a donor i'll send you a registered version for current major version (eg: actually from 0.2x up to 0.299). I'm really not planning new features in short time, because of my "real life" job, really intensive in these days; i'll do some critical bug fixes if needed Regards. |

Hi, whislt I really like FBA I don't want to really commit to it if it's a dead project from you point of view. Do you have plans to continue to develop it? Thanks |

Thanks Actually i can't promise any new version, but it's not a dead project. I can just suggest you to wait about a donation, if you don't feel good about it |

Can I offer to help develop it then perhaps. I have 17 years experience developing business applications in COBOL, C, VB, C#.NET to name a few and have been developing commercial games and other apps in my ''spare" time to boot. Please check out my site - http://www.boiledsweets.com Thanks |

Please check out my site - http://www.boiledsweets.com Thanks This is really a good idea; in these days i was wondering if i could release it as opensource; main problems actually are various licenses from various libraries and tools used by FBA. I have to contact authors in order to ask if there is a way to release this project as opensource. Library/tools used are: Hekkus Sound Library and other minor tools from Thomas Maniero PocketHAL/PocketFrog from Thierry Tremblay LUA Scripting Engine EZSetup2 from Spb Software While EZSetup2,Lua,PocketFrog are opensource, hekkus sources are donateware, pockethal binaries are donateware. I'm afraid release FBA as opensource won't be easy I'll let you know in next days! Thanks. p.s: very cool website and projects, i think we've lot in common |

Hey thanks... Well even if you don't open it up completely as opensource because of the limitations of the licensing implications then perhaps just have a closed development team. Out of interest what was the IDE written in, perhaps I could tackle some of the issues there. Or let me have the specific source for the LUA interpreter I could add the CASE statement functionality. At the end of the day I would really like to see this project develop as it's really very COOL!!! |
