FBA looks great, but it doesn't seem to support my Samsung Blackjack with WM6. Is this supposed to be supported or no? (It's definitely an ARM system, TI OMAP850 in fact)

As far as I know FBA already support WM6.

What kind of error you got?

"Installation of setup.ARM.CAB was unsuccessful. The installation file is not intended for this device" (I named it setup :))

This looks like a setup phase error. Can you try to export your project, copy fba.xxx files on your device and then launch fba.exe from there?

If this works, it`s just a setup build problem (i'll study a way to make rid of compatibility message.

Thank you sir, I'll check it right now!

Edit:
Okay, yes, FBA definitely works! I tried the music and sound demo. Really neat -- if only my phone had a touch screen, haha. :)
I must also warn that my version of WM6 may be a hack -- even if officially from Samsung. They may have done a pretty poor job of porting it, but I'm not really sure.

Edit 2:
If you don't mind, since I have this topic going, I've got a problem with the screen. Might be another weird WM6/Blackjack thing, but here goes:
The Blackjack has a 320x240 Landscape mode display, so by default, FBA will display side-ways (in debug mode). So when I rotate the display to look right in the debugger, it's rotated when executed on the phone. Haha. (Also, I'm sure you realize then that keydown/up/left/right get rotated with it, making for some weirdness)

Really enjoying this though. It's cool that it uses lua to function. (but I guess that means it can't be too fast -- powerful though)

I understood what you mean. I'll check a way to set a "default mode" on Windows version or something similar; for now i think you could develop with rotated window while you're on windows, then set normal window just before exporting your project for windows ce :)
Yes i know this looks like a bad trick, but you should be able to develop in this way, until the next 'fixed' version :)

Of course actually if you try to develop a 3d game, it could be very slow :D But it should be enough for most games (until in a future version the FBA will export some high level 3d functions, who knows.. )

Regards.

Thank you evilmaio! I'm fine with working that way, I don't mind. Thanks for all the effort you put behind this and the support you give. I'll be starting on a game idea here eventually. :)
