I've done an other test by changing the directory:
Mypocket/program files/test/

I 've the same result except the path:

000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00000> FIXING FPS: 30
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00001> * REGISTERED 100 FUNCTIONS
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00002> * GAMEGRID FUNCTIONS ENABLED
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00003> * AUDIO FUNCTIONS ENABLED
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00004> * TTF FONTS FUNCTIONS ENABLED
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00005> MAIN SCRIPT EXTRACTED!
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00006> MAIN SCRIPT LOADED!
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00007> SETTINGS FILE: \Program Files\test\userdata\myconfig.ini.fbaff
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00008> MAIN SCRIPT EXECUTED!
000000041 - [02/01/2004 03:48:07:000] 00009> onmainloop function found!

As during the first test, the path \Program Files\test\userdata\ doesn't exist on the PPC device

Ok, I've tried to create the path manually and it works!

Maybe you should avoid to create this \userdata\ dir to store the data or the config files and prefer to store it in the same dir than the fba.exe file... By this way we should be sure that the softs will be usable with all the WM versions? Unless you find the solution to create the dir...

I've just understood why the openconfigext function is working: The config file is stored in the same directory than the fba.exe file without trying to create a new dir. Don't you think it is the solution for the other functions?

Ok, thanks.

I remember I had the same problem, some years ago... when I was using delphi 1: The old function createdir was unable to create directories in some case. I had to avoid to create dir in my applications in order to be sure to run in all cases. Fortunately, delphi 1 is expired.

Windows is sometimes mysterious. I think it was a bug corrected in the latest versions...

Have a nice afternoon.

Patrick

Ok, just uploaded release 0.2.0.117, without the 'userdata' directory.
I hope that's all ok :)

I've just tested the new uploaded version: All right, the bug is fixed now. Good work: the openfile function and openconfig function are working properly by using window mobile 2003 or WM5.
Congratulations evilmaio!!!!

Bye Bye
