You can turn off the in game messages (see options) but have implmented your idea of a floating message. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, realized that after writing this, sorry about that.

Added more in game messages.
Added red cheese, forces Monty back to the start of the maze.
Added black cheese, caused Monty to black out and wake in a different part of the maze.
Added grey cheese, turns Monty into a ghost and will be able to walk through walls for a while but won't be able to pick anything up.
Added cursor key support
Messages now less obtrusive and fade in/out
Trigger zone for moving left/right with stylus corrected.
Fixed problem when exit was North.
Fixed problem when walking North at start.

Now it remembers which mazes you have completed so you can start where you left off. New version coming soon.

Do you think any collected cheeses etc should be cleared each new maze or should Monty be able to hang on to his items?

Maybe you could add that as an option or as part of a difficulty scheme. I like it the way it is, but since I don't use any of them, I'm probably not the best judge.

Are you using the onlostfocus() / ongotfocus() functions, my pda gets sluggish when interrupted by a call with the game open.

For more info:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=40

This, imo, is the only major weakness of the fbacreator. Even with the on[lost/got]focus() functions, the exit isn't exactly graceful.
