Will FBA programs run on a Verizon Wireless Moto Q (Windows Mobile 6 standard) ?

Or a Verizon Wireless SMT5800 (again, Windows Mobile 6 standard) ?

They do not have touchscreen interfaces.

The SMT5800 specs are:

CPU: Qualcomm MSM7500, 400 MHz
Memory: 256 MB ROM, 64 MB RAM

Is that an ARM processor right?
FBA is compiled to work on WM devices with ARM cpu...so it should work..
If you haven't touch screen, you simply won't be able to use stylus events ;)

Well, I ordered the SMT5800, and I will receive it tomorrow evening (Wednesday.)

It is considered a Windows Mobile Smartphone, not a Windows Mobile PocketPC, but I'll give it a shot and post my results.

Good news! While the installer versions will not work (The smartphone complains that the installer is for a different platform), if I build--pocket pc--export project, and copy the files, it works!

I am VERY pleased. I will check many programs and see if there are issues, but rotating and scaling images is working...

Right, another user posted a problem with setups on his WM6 device.
I think it's an issue of template used to build the setup..
I'll check for more info, btw..if someone wanna help with any suggestion..here's a template file used by setup builder.
I think something could be changed in CEDevice section, or similar...

Code:
[CEStrings]
InstallDir=%CE1%\%AppName%
AppName="fff"

[Strings]
CompanyName="gggg"

[Version]
Signature="$Chicago$"
CESignature="$Windows CE$"
Provider=%CompanyName%

[Shortcuts]
%AppName%,0,"fba.exe"

[SourceDisksNames.Arm]
1=,"ARM FILES",,"C:\Documents and Settings\daniele\Desktop\fuffa\fff\"
2=,"ARM FILES",,"C:\Documents and Settings\daniele\Desktop\FBasic-Ide\"

[SourceDisksFiles.Arm]
fba.exe=1
fba.dat=1
fba.ini=1
fbasetup_fff.dll=1

[Files.Arm]
fba.exe
fba.dat
fba.ini
fbasetup_fff.dll

[DefaultInstall]
CESETUPDLL=fbasetup_fff.dll
CEShortcuts=Shortcuts

[DefaultInstall.Arm]
CopyFiles=Files.Arm

[DestinationDirs]
Shortcuts=,%CE17%
Files.Arm=,%InstallDir%

[CEDevice]
ProcessorType=0
VersionMin=3.0
VersionMax=100.0
BuildMax=0xC0000000

[CEDevice.Arm]
ProcessorType=2577

Thanks!

Is there a way for us to experiment with adjusting the template and report our working settings back to you?

I didn't see anything like that when I browsed the FBA The Creator folder...

Actually unfortunately there isn't a way :(
(unless you can modify sources and recompile them by yourself).
I'll add this to wishlist for next release !
