Author says he's not planning to support mp3. (Probably due to license?)

As far as I know, FBA is mainly intended for games thus the supported audio features is more than enough. MP3 or OGG file support would be great but i think irrealistic for games, due to the limited resources of PPC devices.

Anyway i hope the author will consider the idea to evolve the project for application development. This would possible adding a GUI component library (button, input fields, combos...), and functions for querying some sort of database (SQLlite?).

I'd like to link FMOD audio library (which supports lot of formats), but i think the "non commercial" license is not enough for FBA...
Maybe i have to ask to authors...
In shorts...we know FBA is free, but if an user releases a game with FBA...who should pay license for FMOD?

That's fine. I completely understand.
Of course the mp3 format is so widely adopted now that we tend to forget that someone actually licenced the idea in the first place.
